All right, so I HAVE been under a rock for a while...

As I have been known to mention, the New York Times tries to make me crazy. Today it totally made up for it. It presented the story about the Dancing Man, Matt Harding. Here is the YouTube video that some five million people before me have seen:



This is so simple yet so moving. A guy does this simple dance, then he starts doing it in other places. The Times story gives the progression of events as to how the phenomenon grew and how a subtly placed sponsorship sent him all over the world.

But watch this video and see the real meaning of "Peace on Earth". Especially in the scenes where he is joined by children from all over. For all the insanity that makes up our life, this strikes me as a true beacon of hope. One man dancing.
